Lapalma was founded in 1978 in Cadoneghe, in the province of Padua, as the result of the passion for furnishing of the brothers Dario and Romano Marcato. Its main focus is contract, but the transversal nature of its offer makes it perfect even for domestic and office environments. The design of Lapalma furnishings prefers pure lines and light colors, in an austere and elegant minimalism, of great modernity.

The contribution of great designers has enriched the Lapalma catalog of many products that have become iconic, such as the Lem stool by Shin & Tomoko Azumi, with its closed and perfect shape, the Seela chair by Antti Kotilainen, the essential Brio table by Romano Marcato or the graceful Ap table by Shin Azumi, almost a wood origami. Recently the company has expanded its range of products even to the upholstery, with for example the Plus sofa by Francesco Rota, with very soft shapes.
