Arik Levy

Arik Levy (1963-) is a multifaceted creative, active not only in the field of design but also in many other arts and disciplines. Listed sculptor with works exhibited in the main world galleries, appreciated theatrical set designer in the field of modern ballet with productions for prestigious companies such as the Netherlands Dans Theater in The Hague or the Grand Theater of Geneva, graphic designer who takes care of the corporate identity of important entities such as Bibliothèque de l'Université of Paris or the Louisiana Museum in Denmark: Levy is a multifaceted figure, guided by a creativity that does not allow itself to be harnessed in a single field of application. His main activity, however, remains that of designer, a discipline studied at the Art Center Europe in Vevey, Switzerland, where he moved from his native Israel, and later taught at the ENSCI in Paris. It is in Paris that his studio is based, opened in 1996 together with the American Pippo Lionni, that year begins a successful career that will see his simple and ingenious products become part of the catalogs of famous brands such as Ligne Roset, Desalto, Molteni & C., Vibia, Living Divani, Artemide, e15 and many others.
