Agape
Marsiglia Bathtub
The Marsiglia bathtub by Agape, signed by the designer duo LucidiPevere, finds inspiration for its shapes in those of the ancient wash houses, a constant presence in all the small Italian villages until a few decades ago, to which women went to wash clothes before the advent of the domestic washing machine. The tub, with its clearly square shapes, therefore sees the extension of one of its long sides in a practical projecting support surface that develops as an extension of one of its long sides, forming a comfortable and capacious surface. This romantic suggestion for the past is combined in Marseille with a great attention to practicality: it is a bathtub with extraordinarily small proportions - it has a length of only 149 cm - which allow it to be inserted in bathrooms of all kinds.Technical details: complete with drain with cap in Cristalplant

Agape's corporate mission is to make the constant search for new forms and solutions of the design world dialogue with the traditionally unchanging environment of the bathroom. The result of this research is a collection of bathroom furniture and accessories with surprising shapes, which are able to satisfy the eye and create a peculiar and recognizable aesthetic without sacrificing functionality. To do this, the Benedini family, owner of the company, has managed to make use of the collaboration with several important names of international design, such as Patricia Urquiola, Angelo Mangiarotti and Konstantin Grcic.Read more
Designed by
LucidiPevere
LucidiPevere is a design studio led by Friulian Paolo Lucidi (1974-) and Luca Pevere (1977-), who had already met while studying at the Milan Polytechnic. Appreciated and prolific, they specialize in the design of furniture and lamps with clean lines, with a functional and very contemporary look. The studio has been active since 2003, shortly after the apprenticeships of the two (carried out by Paolo Lucidi with Piero Lissoni and Marc Sadler, while Luca Pevere trained first with Clino Trini Castelli and then with Marco Ferreri), and is based in Palmanova in Friuli Venice Julia. Among their most fruitful collaborations are those with Kristalia and with Emu, but several of their products have been put into production by countless Italian and international brands, including Foscarini, De Padova, Ligne Roset, Roda, Arrmet Gebrüder Thonet Vienna , De Castelli, Horm, Lema , Wittmann and Driade.
