Salvioni Milano Durini | The new Giorgetti window

The Salvioni Milano Durini showroom showcases a new display designed by Giorgetti.

The display takes shape by showcasing some of the brand’s most renowned pieces, masterfully orchestrated to create an elegant and sumptuous space. The chosen hues range from gray to green, featuring numerous wooden elements that perfectly complement the wallpaper chosen for the occasion. The highly evocative frame motif, depicting scenes of everyday life in the style of classical Japanese paintings, is highly evocative.

The parchment shade of this element creates an imaginary wall of rice paper around the living area, giving the illusion of being in a modern Japanese mansion, furnished with all the latest innovations yet perfectly in tune with the tastes of times gone by.

At the entrance, we find the iconic Soho sofa and the Fit coffee tables resting on the Tides rug in shades of white and green. On the right, the Move armchair stands next to the Borealis screen and a striking sculpture by Silvio Monfrini, while on the left, the Soho ottoman and the Mistral table with a marble top stand out.

The Blow sculpture, a distinctive feature that draws the eye and establishes a solid focus on the entire composition, is a distinctive choice behind the sofa. Equally interesting, however, is the lighting solution, represented here by the Libra floor lamp in a marble finish.

A tribute to modernity, but also to an unquenchable passion for the Orient, the Giorgetti display cabinet offers a clear image of a “fusion” environment, dominated by strong hues softened by extreme fades. The solid geometry of the central elements is tempered by the softer elegance of the adjacent ones, which, as demonstrated by the Move armchair, balances the whole and maintains attention.

The numerous artistic elements described, such as the bust and the wallpapers, are part of the collection of works from the Fine Art Brun Art Gallery, specializing in antiques and precious objects from around the world.

And for the more attentive, the ever-present Guardian Lion of the Abissola School watches over the entrance to the Salvioni showroom, protecting anyone who passes through its doors. It’s therefore a must-pass.
