Shipping

The logistics and shipping services around the world represent a flagship of the Salvioni Design Solutions group. We have a large logistics center in Italy of over 8,000 square meters and a warehouse in Switzerland of 600 square meters, where a staff of over 15 people entirely dedicated to deliveries and shipments provide service.
We work with highly selected partners, specialized in the management and shipping of furniture all over the world who choose the collaboration that can guarantee the best service for each destination.
Consistent with our 360-degree approach to the project, we have a structure dedicated to consulting customers for the choice of transport solutions suited to their needs.
Over the years we have accumulated extensive experience managing shipments and assembly for large projects on all 5 continents and in hundreds of different cities.


National shipments (Italy, Switzerland)

We can offer widespread distribution, managed thanks to the use of many vehicles in synergy with our staff specialized in delivery within the home. We can also rely on trusted couriers for curb-free deliveries.

Europe shipments

We are able to guarantee the same quality of service offered for the national market throughout Europe. Shipments to Europe take place mainly by air or by road, selecting the best method together with the customer. United Kingdom: through our trusted partners we can provide assistance in the management of shipments in British territory according to the new post-Brexit customs regulations.

Worldwide shipments

Salvioni Design Solutions is a company specialized in exports, with extensive experience all over the world, which includes both logistical aspects and those relating to customs clearance and export. Shipments outside the EU can take place in the following ways: - By air, dedicated to fast and urgent shipments. It is possible to integrate the packaging to adapt them to the standards required by this type of shipment. - By sea, dedicated to shipments with standard timing. Shipping by sea can be arranged Port to Port or Door to Door. You can rely on a groupage service or use an entirely dedicated container.

Monitoring

Salvioni is available to carry out the assembly of furniture and the realization of projects all over the world through the use of teams of personnel specialized in the sector. Assembly costs are calculated separately.

Packaging

The cardboard packaging, suitable for containers and land shipments, are provided free of charge by Salvioni together with the goods purchased. If necessary, it is also possible to prepare additional reinforced packaging (wooden crates / crates and pallets of all sizes) for which an estimate cost is provided.

Insurance

Shipments are covered by "Full Risks" insurance, issued by the transport company in charge. If the purchased products show damage to the packaging, the customer can contact us promptly and provide photographic documentation, in order to allow us to proceed with a quick resolution of the problem. The packaging of the most fragile materials will be marked with an Anti-Shock impact indicator, a further control and monitoring device that has a red color in case of impact or overturning. We do our best to ensure the greatest possible protection during the transit of the purchased products.

Transport costs

Our logistic office is available to select together with the customer the method that best suits his/her needs. For this, separately from the order, an ad hoc quotation is formulated based on the type of transport requested, the quantities of the order and the final destination.

White Gloves service

We can provide the "White Gloves" service (quoted separately) for any kind of shipment and delivery, which includes the delivery to the floor of the purchased furniture, the disposal of the packaging, the final assembly and the complete execution of the interior design project planned with the client. (Hydraulic and electrical connections are excluded from the service)

Delivery time

All the products in our online catalog are made specifically for the customer, customized according to his requests. The production times for each item are indicative and reflect the timing communicated to us by the manufacturer brands. Delivery times may instead vary according to the destinations and the period of the year. The products in the “Prompt Delivery” and “Outlet” sections are already available in our showrooms and warehouses. Also in this case, for the technical times of preparation of the goods, please refer to the deadline defined in the contract phase. Like the products, the services are also "customized" according to the customer's needs, which is why we are committed to meeting any urgent requests, through the organization of express and timed delivery services.
