History
The history of Salvioni Design Solutions began in the 1950s with its founder, Angelo Salvioni, who was responsible for starting a small family-run business in Brianza dedicated to the creation of furniture. Over time the company transforms, moving from an exclusively artisanal vision to a more commercial one characterized by the sale of multi-brand furniture and enhanced by collaborations with sector brands which have now become leaders in international luxury furniture. With the advent of the 1980s, management passed into the hands of his sons Ercole and Gianni and transformed into a truly high-end entrepreneurial reality.
As the business expanded, the Salvioni brothers inaugurated a series of multi-brand showrooms in Brianza with the shops in Inverigo (1986) and Copreno (1989). The company's headquarters, the Inverigo showroom was redesigned in 1995 by the architect Paolo Piva and further expanded in 2010 to better represent the progressive growth of the company. Later, in 2005, Salvioni made a first important expansive leap, reaching the historic center of Lugano with two showrooms with a strong architectural and design value. Finally, it arrives in the nerve center of design, Milan, creating a true center of excellence thanks to the showroom in via Durini (2016). In this new context Salvioni is able to best express its potential and assimilate the creative momentum of the city translated in those same years in the inauguration of the flagship stores Baxter Cinema (2015), Salvioni Milano Gallotti&Radice (2018) and Salvioni Milano Casamilano (2022).
However, the successes of Salvioni Design Solutions cannot be counted only in square meters. Quality and excellence have always been determining factors in the company's development as well as the driving force of those who have guided it towards the numerous goals that today make it a protagonist on the Italian and international scene. Awarded the title of Cavaliere del Lavoro (Order of Merit for Work) in 2011, the first furniture retail trader, Gianni Salvioni was able to forge the spirit that still survives today in the direction of his brother Ercole Salvioni supported by his sons. From generation to generation, Salvioni Design Solutions becomes an increasingly international player and participant in change with new means, new technologies and above all new challenges to face to continue its personal path towards the market of tomorrow.
