Erwan Bouroullec
Erwan Bouroullec (1976–) is a highly regarded contemporary French designer who worked for many years in close collaboration with his older brother Ronan (1971–). Trained in the field of contemporary arts, Erwan approached design through his brother, accompanying him on a remarkably successful path that led the duo to collaborate with brands such as Magis, Ligne Roset, Kartell, Artek, Glas Italia, Kettal, Established & Sons, and many others. Their work has consistently been characterized by a form of “poetic minimalism” that over time became their distinctive signature. In 2024, the two brothers decided to part ways, dissolving their joint studio and each pursuing an independent career. For his first projects without his brother, Erwan has collaborated with some of the historic clients of the former duo, including Flos, Vitra, and Hay.
