Giorgio Bonaguro

Giorgio Bonaguro
Giorgio Bonaguro (1977–) is an Italian designer. His style acts as a bridge between the Italian design tradition and that of Brazil, a country where he is very active and from which he has drawn much inspiration. Emblematic in this sense is the Joaquim side table designed for the brand Tacchini Italia, conceived as an homage to the great Brazilian design master Joaquim Tenreiro. Originally from Brianza, Giorgio Bonaguro studied mechanical engineering in Modena and later specialized in design at the Politecnico di Milano. He worked in the studios of several prominent architects and designers, including Michele De Lucchi and Marco Romanelli, and went on to create limited editions and installations presented at major events such as Design Miami and São Paulo Design Weekend. Giorgio Bonaguro has designed furniture collections for brands such as Laurameroni, Carpanese Home, Ceppi, and many others, as well as decorative objects produced by leading companies including Giorgetti, Driade, and Serax.
