Marc Ange

Marc Ange
Marc Ange (1978–) is an Italian-French designer. Born in Rome, he completed his studies at ESDI in Paris, where he founded his studio Bloom Room (now renamed Studio Ange) in 2011, after gaining experience as a car designer in Turin. His aesthetic vision is populated by dreamlike forms with a strong emotional and theatrical impact, deeply rooted in figurative inspiration. One of the fields in which he has particularly excelled is fragrance packaging: he has designed the bottles for many major brands such as Paco Rabanne, Christian Louboutin, and Jean-Paul Gaultier, often characterized by a bold Art Deco flair. One of his greatest successes came in 2017 with the project La Refuge, presented as an installation at the Salone del Mobile in Milan: an iconic daybed surrounded by stylized palm trees that evokes exotic atmospheres and a sense of luxury. From this project stemmed his growing interest in furniture design, which led him to found the brand LJ Editions, for which he created a complete collection of eclectic furnishings. His collaboration with the brand Visionnaire has also been highly successful; for them, he designed the magnificent Pavone armchair, which quickly became one of the brand’s signature pieces. Since 2015, his studio has also opened a second office in Los Angeles, the cradle of Californian Modernism, a city that has always been one of his primary sources of inspiration for interior design projects.
