Marcio Kogan (1962-), founder of the mk27 studio, is an esteemed Brazilian architect active above all in the construction of luxurious private villas and in the field of retail design. His creations, in which the influence of the great tradition of Brazilian modernism is strong, are characterized by the harmonious continuity between the interior spaces and the natural landscape outside, thanks also to the use of large windows that flood the rooms with natural light. . The treatment given to the interiors is also strongly naturalistic, with warm and light woods that soften the rigor of the square lines on which each room is built, its real trademark. All features that are also found in the luxurious furnishings that he has signed for Minotti, both for indoors and outdoors. A native of São Paulo, it is there that most of his projects came to light. He has always been very fascinated by the mono of cinema: in his youth he also had the opportunity to combine his career as an architect with an appreciated activity as a director, which also culminated in the victory of some nationally important awards.
