Victoria Wilmotte
Victoria Wilmotte (1985–) is a French designer known for her work with metal, which she subjects to a meticulous, almost sculptural process—engraving, bending, and chiseling it until it is shaped into precise forms and sharp angles. This work takes place in her studio-gallery in Paris, located along the Seine, a space halfway between a showroom and a workshop where visitors can engage directly with her highly personal poetic vision, often characterized by crisp, defined edges. Over the years, she has developed limited-edition works with some of the world’s most important design galleries, including Carpenters Workshop Gallery and the Pierre Bergé et Associés Gallery in Brussels, which hosted her first solo exhibition in 2009. Among the companies for which she has designed products for serial production are the German brands ClassiCon and Pulpo. In 2024 and 2025, Victoria Wilmotte was selected by the French edition of Architectural Digest for inclusion in the AD100, the annual list of the one hundred most influential figures in contemporary national and international design.
