Andreu World
The Andreu World brand was born in 1955 when Francisco Andreu Marti transformed the family's small craft business into a full-fledged company dedicated to the construction of chairs. Following this first important step, the company began to design its first mass-produced models, creating its own simple but finely detailed style capable of appealing to the taste of a wider public. Designed by

Piergiorgio Cazzaniga

Piergiorgio Cazzaniga
Piergiorgio Cazzaniga (1946-) belongs to the free-range generation of Brianza designers trained in the field, in close contact with daily industrial practice and its needs. An experience that allowed him to acquire great familiarity with materials and their potential, declined in a versatile and functional style capable of being appreciated all over the world. His activity began in Lissone in his father's carpentry and continued in the 1960s as head of the technical office of two large companies, Besana Mobili (from 1962 to 1964) and Boffi (from 1966 to 1971). With the latter he will be the protagonist of a season of great successes, also taking care of corporate communication and showroom fittings. In 1971 he founded his own architectural studio, A&D, in partnership with Luigi Massoni and Abelardo Pellizza, whose activity spanned two decades and which led him to create products for brands such as Poltrona Frau and Poliform (now all out of print). Finally, in 1991, he set up on his own to begin a long and prolific career as a designer, in which he too will later be joined by his son Michele (1979-). His most fruitful and lasting collaboration is with the MDF Italia brand, but he has also worked with Living Divani, Desalto, Tribù, Andreu World and many other brands. Read more
