Audo Copenhagen
Born from the union of two famous international design brands, Audo Copenhagen seems to have inherited from both the inexhaustible craftsmanship as well as the compositional ability that made them famous all over the world. From Menu and By Lassen this brand draws strength and solidity, proposing itself as a valid interlude of a typically Nordic taste, embodied in Danish and contemporary furniture. The variety of products offered fits effectively into all spaces of the house, offering a valid choice to all those who want simple yet detailed furnishings, with a restrained taste and no excesses.Read more

Tove Kindt Larsen

Tove Kindt Larsen
Tove Kindt-Larsen (1906–1994, born Tove Reddersen) was a Danish designer and one of the first female figures to achieve major success in the world of Scandinavian design. She attended Kaare Klint’s courses at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, though she never graduated. It was there that she met her future husband, Edvard Kindt-Larsen (1901–1982), also a student of Klint, with whom she formed a productive professional partnership. Working side by side from the 1930s to the 1960s, they co-signed numerous Mid-Century design projects spanning fields from furniture to jewelry. Even before joining forces with her husband, however, Tove had already created several highly successful furniture collections, which won first prize at the 1937 Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild Exhibition. Furniture designed solely by Tove is now reissued by the brands Gubi and Sika Design, while some pieces co-designed with her husband are reissued by Audo Copenhagen.Read more
