Cappellini
Giulio Cappellini, from the beginning the heart and mind of the namesake company, has gained over the years the well-deserved reputation of being one of the greatest talent scouts in the history of Italian design. His flair has brought to Italy a large number of young designers from all over the world, who have found in Cappellini the ideal environment to create bold and avant-garde projects, thus often starting careers from real design-star. The Cappellini philosophy of supporting the creativity of their designers, has given life to a rich and heterogeneous catalog, in which a multi-faceted “author” styls coexists. Over the years, this peculiarity has given Cappellini top marks and places in the most important museums of the world such as the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Center Pompidou in Paris.Read more

Raphael Navot

Raphael Navot
Raphaël Navot (1977–), born in Jerusalem and based in Paris, is a highly regarded French-Israeli designer who was named “Designer of the Year” in 2023 by the Maison & Objet fair. Trained at the Design Academy Eindhoven, Navot is deeply committed to traditional craft techniques, to the point of describing himself as a “non-industrial designer.” His creations, imbued with a distinctly Parisian elegance, often captivate through sculptural forms with primordial references. His first major successes came in the field of interior design. Among the projects that brought him international recognition are the Parisian club Silencio (2011), designed in collaboration with acclaimed filmmaker David Lynch, and the Hôtel National des Arts et Métiers (2017), also located in Paris. In furniture design, he achieved particular success with the Nativ collection created for Roche Bobois, which includes the acclaimed Primordial bookcase, awarded “Product of the Year” at the 2020 Elle Decor International Design Awards. Another outstanding collaboration is that with Loro Piana Interiors, begun in 2021, which resulted in a complete furniture collection. He has also collaborated with Cappellini in furniture design, Veronese Paris in lighting, Oscar Ono in parquet flooring, and De Gournay in wallpaper design. His limited-edition works are represented by the Friedman Benda gallery.Read more
