The Peaches vase series by Driade includes numerous examples of different shapes and colors, each guided by a common aesthetic that includes rounded and highly evocative shapes that everyone can freely interpret. The series includes examples such as Hedy, named after Hedy Lamarr, an Austrian actress and inventor; Emmeline, from Emmeline Pankhurst, a British activist and politician, and Amelia, from Amelia Earhart, the first woman to circumnavigate the globe. Each of these elements stands out for its strong aesthetic sense and rather bizarre shapes, which do not detract from the balance of the whole, which is coherent, interesting and functional.
