Volée is a lamp designed by Odo Fioravanti for FontanaArte and represents a next-generation lighting element thanks to its LED technology combined with a formal research that merges innovation with true aesthetic exploration. Volée is distinguished by its essential design, featuring a single adjustable arm fitted with a manually operated diffuser: by simply passing a hand under the head, an electronic device is activated without the need for direct contact. A touch sensor located on top of the head allows adjustment of the light output to four different intensity levels. A Time Out system automatically switches off the lamp after five hours of continuous use. The arm’s balancing mechanisms allow the position of the lamp to be customized, ensuring optimal calibration of its range of action.

The real brand was born from the meeting between the latter and Giò Ponti, the first artistic director, leaving an indelible mark on the style of the company, so much that his creations still play a central role in the FontanaArte catalog.
