Ikebana is a vase produced by Fritz Hansen and designed by Jaime Hayon in 2016. This design object draws inspiration from the Japanese art of floral decoration, here favored by the presence of a particular perforated plate that favors the placement of the different stems, acting as a real support. In this way, Ikebana becomes an accessory and at the same time, a very useful tool for the home, a support for those who love to decorate with taste by inserting natural elements such as flowers, plants and much more into the home environment. Its light structure places it very well in living rooms and spaces, but it is equally suitable for sleeping areas, offices, studies and much more.

Milestone of danish design, the brand Fritz Hansen gathers in its catalogue some of the biggest classics of the Scandinavian modernim with modern and cutting-edge furniture, signed by some of the most important contemporary designers. In the style of Fritz Hansen furniture, characteristically nordic, the functional approach is tempered by pure and light lines, which make up immediately recognisable silhouettes that have now become part of the collective immagination. Products such as the Egg Chair armchair and Serie 7’s chairs by Arne Jacobsen are now pillars of the history of design.Read more
Designed by
Jaime Hayon
Jaime Hayon (1974-) is a Spanish artist and designer, one of the most important names in the panorama of contemporary design. After his studies in Madrid and Paris, he took his first steps in the world of design as a teacher at the Fabrica research center in Treviso, founded by the Benetton family and Oliviero Toscarini, and then revealed himself to the world with the exhibition "Mediterranean Digital Baroque" at the David Gill Gallery in London. In the field of furniture he has worked with brands such as BD Barcelona Design, Fritz Hansen, Magis, Viccarbe, Ceccotti, Wittmann, Moooi, Cassina and many others, with furniture to which its typical wavy and light sign gives a strong charge of expressiveness. However, it is in the design of the object that he is able to unleash all his disruptive creativity, giving life to colorful and playful accessories that often take the form of real sculptures, made for brands such as Bosa, Paola C., Lladrò and Vista Alegre.Read more
