Massimiliano Locatelli (1967–), who leads the practice Locatelli Partners together with Giovanna Cornelio and Annamaria Scevola, is a prominent Italian architect and interior designer. Locatelli Partners was founded in 1993 following the meeting of its three founding partners and operated for many years under the name CLS Architetti, before adopting its current name in 2018. Characterized by a neo-rationalist approach and a deep respect for tradition, the studio’s work spans both residential projects and the retail sector, where it has designed showrooms for major fashion brands such as Jil Sander, Pinko, Missoni, and Paul & Shark, as well as for high-end design brands including B&B Italia and Nemo. Alongside this activity, the studio has also developed a number of furniture pieces, always conceived specifically for individual projects rather than for industrial production. These creations, the result of collaborations with outstanding manufacturers such as Glas Italia, have been featured over the years in various exhibitions at the prestigious Nilufar Gallery in Milan and were brought together in 2024 in the volume Massimiliano Locatelli Editions, a kind of summa summarizing a long and successful career.Read more
