Longhi
Land Sliding Door
Signed by Alessandro La Spada, a well-known designer specializing in luxury projects, the design of the Land sliding door is based on a series of panels whose surface is divided into irregular square geometries that give it an elegant and luxurious effect. The subdivision lines of the panel reflect the finish of the frame and can also be made in very precious golden finishes. Land is conceived as a real overall architectural system: in addition to the sliding door, the series also consists of swing doors and boiserie that can thus give life to precious coordinated environments.

Designed by
Alessandro La Spada
Alessandro La Spada is an Italian designer regarded as one of the leading specialists in “luxury style.” In his creations, refined details, precious materials, and masterful craftsmanship come together to build a magical One Thousand and One Nights world in which the client’s wealth is emphasized and displayed in all its opulence. Golden reflections, large marble slabs, gleaming steels: his baroque furnishings reveal a warm, passionate sensibility, with no half measures. This style is also rooted in the designer’s personal background: born in Calabria to Sicilian parents, he graduated in 1990 from Milan’s IDI’AC (Interior Design Institute). Some of Italy’s most important luxury furniture brands have relied on his work, including Visionnaire, Longhi, and Smania. Particularly close is his collaboration with Antolini—one of Italy’s leading companies in high-end marble—for which he has curated numerous installations. Among his many other projects, Alessandro La Spada has also ventured into lighting with MM Lampadari and into wallpaper design with Inkiostro Bianco.
