Minotti
Supermoon Sofa
Modular
A compact and sculptural sofa, which seems able to combine comfort and modernity in a solution of continuous and expertly articulated lines to create the illusion of compactness, elegance, conformity. Supermoon is an upholstered piece born from the collaboration between Giampiero Tagliaferri and Minotti, a duo that has been able to create an out of the ordinary design, characterized by backrests and armrests poetically attributable to lunar phases. The shapes of each element are intended to recall geometries and more stylistic references, creating a dialogue between fabric, structure, padding and more. The details of Supermoon are equally precious and contribute to creating an exceptional proposal for the living area, as always an emblem of the company's artisanal quality.

Minotti was born in 1948 from an intuition of Alberto Minotti.
The original artisan dimension of the company changes soon and, starting from the Sixties, assumes industrial personality and dimensions. The next step is due to the children, Renato and Roberto Minotti who, after the untimely death of their father in 1991, take the reins of the company and begin a process of growth and expansion towards international markets.
Responsible for the company's strategies, the Minotti brothers share the creative line and the aesthetic principles of the products with the architect Rodolfo Dordoni, who in 1998 was appointed Artistic Director.
The concept that best represents Minotti is certainly the ability to innovate in the sign of continuity. Key formula of Minotti identity is the full expression of the concept of "Made in Italy", which today combines tradition and technology in an indissoluble way: the knowledge of the artisans refines a product born from the most modern technologies, while the intelligence of the hands offers sensitivity and emotion to industrial precision.Read more
Designed by
Giampiero Tagliaferri
Giampiero Tagliaferri (1984–) is a refined interior designer with a cosmopolitan sensibility who divides his professional activity between Los Angeles and Milan, the two cities where his studio is based. After serving for many years as creative director of the eyewear brand Oliver Peoples, Tagliaferri shifted his focus entirely to interior design, creating residences for prominent figures including fashion designers, entrepreneurs, and pop stars. His style, strongly influenced by the reinterpretation of vintage models from the past, represents a synthesis of the distinct characters of the cities in which he has lived and worked: from his experience in Milan he developed a taste for understated, discreet luxury, while his time in Los Angeles—drawing inspiration from the great figures of Californian Modernism such as Richard Neutra—taught him how to best enhance natural light and the beauty of the surrounding landscape in his villas. In recent years, his stylistic research has drawn significant inspiration from the aesthetics of the 1970s, frequently referenced in his projects both through individual stylistic elements and through their overall atmosphere. This “Seventies sensibility” also defines his first experience in serial product design, namely the collaboration launched in 2024 with the Italian brand Minotti.Read more
