The Margas armchair was born from the talent of Louise Liljencrantz who named it after her grandmother, Marga von Dardel, a woman who represents one of his most solid role models. This elegant armchair is configured with compact and strong lines, which seem to stretch out one over the other, outlining the overall silhouette. The resulting beauty is simple but finely studied, further enhanced by the tiny feet underneath which support and raise the figure, improving its presence within the space. Due to its nature, Margas can be placed well in any room of the house, always proving to be a pleasant and appropriate element, ideal for those looking for something far from banal.

Designed by
Louise Liljencrantz
Louise Liljencrantz (1979–) is one of the leading figures in contemporary Swedish design. Founded in 2009, her studio has produced a number of high-profile interior design projects in which Liljencrantz draws on the principles and atmospheres of Scandinavian Mid-Century design, expressed through a measured sense of luxury characterized by the extensive use of natural materials such as wood and by bright, welcoming environments rich in light tones. Wood also plays a central role in her product design practice, strongly referencing Sweden’s rich cabinetmaking tradition. Her refined creations are the result of collaborations with the historic Danish workshop K.F.K. Snickeri and are presented as limited editions in some of the world’s most important design galleries. Over the years, the partnership with K.F.K. Snickeri has grown and evolved into the Veermakers brand, whose collections place solid wood at center stage, celebrating its intrinsic qualities through irregular, sculptural forms such as the graceful Cloud side table, perhaps her most iconic design. In the field of industrial production, Liljencrantz has also collaborated with the Danish brand &Tradition.
