Salvioni is Foscarini official dealer

Foscarini, founded in Venice in the ‘80s by Andrea Vecchiato and Carlo Urbinati, was born in the name of innovation. The initial project was to modernize the typology of the classic Murano glass lamp, but soon the company opened up to a wide range of new materials: currently its catalog has lamps made in over 20 different finishes. The Foscarini catalog is always full of various proposals: it includes chandeliers such as the Caboche model by Patricia Urquiola, whose shapes are inspired by a bracelet, pendant lamps like the Aplomb by Lucidi Pevere, table lamps such as the classic Lumiere by Rodolfo Dordoni and floor lamps like the imposing Twiggy by Marc Sadler.

Among the suspension lamps, Foscarini counts the Spokes model of the Friulian studio García Cumini, and the Rituals collection of Ludovica and Roberto Palomba. The inclination to creative design contaminations has led Foscarini to collaborate with the fashion world, giving light to the Diesel with Foscarini collection of lamps: the most famous are the Glass Drop lamp, the Fork floor lamp and the Crash & Bell suspension lamp.

The collaboration with numerous designers from all over the world has always been a constant in the history of Foscarini. Inextricably linked to the brand are in fact names such as Marc Sadler, whose lamps Mite and Tite won the Compasso d’Oro award in 2001, Ferruccio Laviani, who just for Foscarini made his first lamp and the Catalans Lievore Altherr Molina, without forgetting the collaborations with big names like Tom Dixon, Nendo and Karim Rashid.

Official dealer of the brand, Salvioni Design Solutions exhibits Foscarini collections in its showrooms of Lugano and Inverigo, a few kilometers from the center of Milan. Foscarini lamps are shown in well-kept domestic environments right down to the smallest detail, where the client can find ideas and suggestions for the lighting of the home.
