Karman is an Italian lighting design company founded in 2005 by Davide Diamantini. The Marche-based brand specializes in the production of decorative indoor and outdoor lighting, combining traditional Made in Italy craftsmanship with a distinctly ironic and unconventional style that makes each piece truly unique. It is no coincidence that the company’s motto is “Be, amaze, create”, three principles that Karman follows to the letter, creating sculptural and narrative objects capable of evoking emotions.

In the production of its designer lamps, Karman experiments with unusual materials such as ceramic, concrete, fiberglass, metal, lace, paper, and many others. Each material is interpreted according to the company’s distinctive style and aesthetic vision, challenging preconceptions to express its own unique narrative. The design is strongly ironic, often drawing inspiration from anthropomorphic forms, animals, and nature. Everyday objects are taken out of their original context and reimagined in entirely new and unexpected ways.
