Morpho represents one of the most fascinating and recent design projects in the industry. Born as a high-end brand specializing in woodworking, it celebrates the creative universe of the renowned Belgian music festival Tomorrowland, translating its dreamlike and immersive aesthetic into a permanent collection of luxury furniture, vases, and faucets.

The name “Morpho” is inspired by the eponymous Morpho menelaus butterfly, a symbol of metamorphosis and transformation. Under the strong creative direction of architecture firm Dieter Vander Velpen, the company reinterprets Art Nouveau through a contemporary lens, creating organic, sinuous forms in which wood evokes roots intertwined and entwined with one another. Branches, dragonfly wings, leaves, and cocoons: every element of the Morpho collection draws inspiration from nature and its most evocative manifestations, giving rise to a collection that perfectly complements the style of the festival that inspired its creation.

The connection with Ethnicraft, the long-established furniture company founded on the production of solid-wood furniture characterized by a minimalist, warm, and timeless design, is particularly close. To bring its furniture collection into production, Morpho works side by side with Ethnicraft, effectively sharing ownership of the collection.

Among the brand’s many offerings, standouts include the Volita chair, the Eivissa armchairs, and the spectacular Cena table, distinguished by a sinuous base reminiscent of a root and an engraved wooden top featuring striking three-dimensional, tactile textures. Equally noteworthy are the terracotta and textured clay vases, designed to blend naturally with vegetation, creating a harmonious “continuum.” The faucets collection, meanwhile, includes a wide range of mixers and bathroom accessories characterized by fluid, geometric lines inspired by water and natural elements.
