Luca Nichetto (1976-) is perhaps among the great contemporary Italian designers the one with the most international approach. He lives in Stockholm and runs his studio there, proposing his fresh and functional style through collaborations with many brands around the world: from Scandinavia to Spain, from France to Italy, for him, design has no borders. Yet in all this he brings with him a very strong territorial imprinting: he was in fact born and raised in Murano and there he took his first steps as a designer, already collaborating at the age of 23 with the historic Salviati furnace, and maintains a very strong bond with the glass design. The brands with which he has collaborated range from big names to emerging and trendy realities: Kristalia, Foscarini, Molteni & C., Sancal, Cassina, Gallotti & Radice, La Manufacture Paris, Arflex, Ethimo, Casamania, Offecct, Moooi and many others. He also collaborates with Hermès for the creation of the windows of its boutiques.
