Posidonia Vase
Price starting from € 4,636.00*
*Price valid for the version in H.21 cm in glass (cod. 26320/ME).
Just like the famous algae from which it takes its name, Posidonia is a vase that recalls the lightness and impalpability, as well as the elegance that has always been embodied in the blown glass it is made of. The fluid beauty of underwater nature is sealed here, becoming a work of art thanks to the “pulling of the canes”, stretched and arranged on a grooved support. The glass levata, shaped into a cylinder, is rolled on the bronze which, collecting the canes, layer after layer manages to give life to the vase as a whole. The technique is deliberately performed by hand, and it is precisely this human component that seals its authenticity and uniqueness. Each model is in fact unique and impossible to replicate, a piece that by its very nature tells of the supreme ability to create that the great Masters have preserved until today.
