Tactile Sofa
The Tactile series is born in the two versions of armchair and sofa, ideal protagonists of a high-class living space. Through soft and enveloping lines, Tactile precisely enhances the tactile properties of the leather in order to develop an attention to the artisan detail with which Baxter has conceived and created it. Thanks to the combination of transverse and longitudinal lines, Tactile is broken down into its elementary parts, differentiating back, seat and armrests. The use of Baxter leather is essential here to increase the stylistic value of this model as a whole. The base in varnished fir and the structure in Chilean plywood and fir ensure maximum stability and durability over time.

The family-run company developed its potential in Lurago d'Erba, where the ancient artisan tradition meets the highly specialized local crafts. The Brand maintained a focus on the quality of the materials used, searching for absolute excellence in order to propose design products with a strong emotional impact for aesthetics, shape and function. Vincenzo De Cotiis (1958-) is one of the most popular Italian "art designers", whose limited series furnishings are one of the highlights of what is probably the most famous design gallery in the world, the London-based Carpenter's Workshop. At the heart of De Cotiis' design reflection, also carried forward in his exhibition space in the center of Milan, is the close relationship between the furnishings and the environment: De Cotiis is in fact also a renowned interior designer capable of skilfully contextualizing his sculptural and magniloquent creations. In his works, matter becomes the protagonist, molded into spurious and deliberately imperfect forms that bring out its most intrinsic characteristics, assuming the form of ancestral and almost alien artifacts. Now active only in the field of collectibles, in the past he has worked with a select number of renowned Italian brands - Baxter and Ceccotti - creating products that are still among their bestsellers.
