The Cosmos chair was born as a design evolution of the famous Metropolitan whose design and stage presence stand out in the numerous proposals of the B&B Italia brand. Cosmos offers an innovative structure in turn declined in numerous classic variants, with four spokes in aluminum, with steel rod or more. Whatever the option, however, it remains an extremely versatile and usable piece of furniture regardless of the style of the house. Customizable in numerous colors and finishes, Cosmos finds its maximum expression in living spaces or in dining areas, combined with the numerous other proposals of the B&B Italia brand.*Technical features:- version with sled base: support structure in polished chromed steel- version with base on spokes: revolving support structure - in polished brushed aluminum finish

B&B Italia's strongest ability is to combine creative ideas with design skills, which over the years have led the company to win four Golden Compasses. B&B Italia’s fulcrum is the Research and Development Centre (CR&S), a research laboratory dedicated to the study of the most innovative materials and the industrialization of production processes. The purpose of CR&S is to give life to the most groundbreaking projects of some of the major international designers.
Founded in the late 60's by Piero Ambrogio Busnelli and Cesare Cassina with the name of C&B Italia, the company has disrupted the furnishing industry's rules with a revolutionary industry vision. The ability to turn traditional furnishings production into industrial designs proves today, like yesterday, the strength of the company.Read more

Jeffrey Bernett
Jeffrey Bernett (1964-) is one of the most important contemporary American designers. Born in the Midwest, he completed his design studies in England at Carnam College before opening his own studio in New York. His first furniture collection, presented at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York in 1996, was acclaimed by the press and critics, opening the doors to important international collaborations. In fact, Bernett is one of the few North American designers able to cross the Atlantic and establish itself with leading brands in the world of furniture such as B&B Italia, Boffi, Ligne Roset or Cappellini, becoming in many cases the first American firm to appear in the catalogs of those brand names. His style, the result of a happy synthesis between modern minimalist rigor and colorful acceptance of forms, also met with great success at home with the collections designed for Design Within Reach and Knoll. Among his most famous interior design projects is the Michael Kors flagship store in New York.Read more
