The Moor chaise longue by B&B Italia features a bold, sculptural silhouette that fits seamlessly into contemporary domestic interiors. Designed by Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen, its structure develops as a fluid, organic ring over which a natural rattan weave is stretched, combining comfort with refined elegance. The use of rattan is essential in giving the piece a distinctive sense of materiality while maintaining a lightweight, flexible, and breathable surface — qualities that are fundamental to ensuring maximum comfort for both body and skin. The floor supports are deliberately concealed so as not to interrupt the rhythm and purity of the suspended line.

B&B Italia's strongest ability is to combine creative ideas with design skills, which over the years have led the company to win four Golden Compasses. B&B Italia’s fulcrum is the Research and Development Centre (CR&S), a research laboratory dedicated to the study of the most innovative materials and the industrialization of production processes. The purpose of CR&S is to give life to the most groundbreaking projects of some of the major international designers.
Founded in the late 60's by Piero Ambrogio Busnelli and Cesare Cassina with the name of C&B Italia, the company has disrupted the furnishing industry's rules with a revolutionary industry vision. Vincent Van Duysen
Vincent Van Duysen (1962-), Belgian architect and designer, is one of the most prominent figures in the contemporary design sector. His mark, measured and elegant, reveals a profound awareness of space and its articulations: each product he designs is not in fact conceived as a unicum in its own right, but as part of a harmonious whole. Minimalist without being icy, Van Duysen knows how to create highly suggestive environments, in which no element is too much. After working in Milan in his youth with the stylist Cinzia Ruggeri and with the designer Aldo Cibic, he founded his studio in Antwerp in 1990 and developed it to build a team of over 20 people. He has been the art director of Molteni & C. since 2016, a brand for which he takes care of the entire coordinated image, from products to fittings. Other brands he has collaborated with are Poliform, Flos, B&B Italia, Paola Lenti, Sahco and Serax.Read more
