This desk model produced by Dagmar is inspired by the celebrated Model 36, manufactured by Haslev Møbelsnedkeri in Denmark and designed by the master Severin Hansen Jr. in 1958. Its form and proportions perfectly reflect an essential design philosophy that adds nothing unnecessary while reducing every detail to a minimum, achieving a purity that is difficult to match. With this piece, Dagmar revives a classic of its kind, enriching it with a more contemporary touch that allows it to fit seamlessly into a variety of interiors, from formal to more casual settings. The structure is crafted from fine rosewood restored with Danish oil. This writing desk features the classic miter joints and tapered legs characteristic of Hansen’s style, along with oak-lined drawers.
