The Orma bed by Flou is designed by Carlo Colombo, who gives it enveloping lines and a prominent base that flows seamlessly into the headboard, creating a unified form of exceptional softness. The bed extends gracefully into the space, maintaining a strong horizontal balance and generous proportions, enhanced by the sumptuous upholstery designed to become a defining feature of the room. The Orma coverings are available in fabric or leather and are fully removable. Orma comes in both a fixed-base version with adjustable slats and a version with an electronically adjustable base, offering an exceptional level of comfort. With this model, Flou continues its distinctive exploration of the world of luxury bedroom furnishings.

Flou was born in Meda in 1978 from the idea of the Knight of the Order of Merit for Labour Rosario Messina to make the culture of sleep an authentic personal mission. Rosario Messina was able to follow the changing needs and trends of housing by introducing innovative and modern products in the market. Among the first beds proposals of the company, there is a revolutionary product considered the founder of modern textile beds: the Nathalie, signed by the Architect Vico Magistretti. Very first bed with removable coverings, the Nathalie marked the beginning of a long series of important awards for the company.Read more

Carlo Colombo (1967-) is an Italian designer who has obtained the reputation of "luxury designer" par excellence. The innate elegance of his style gives life to timeless products, capable of being appreciated in every age and in every latitude and of enjoying great commercial success. A pupil of Achille Castiglioni at the Milan Polytechnic, he is discovered by Giulio Cappellini who gives him the opportunity to present his first creations. In addition to Cappellini, he collsborates with brands such as Poliform, Flexform, Giorgetti, Antonio Lupi, Flou, Penta and with the Luxury Living group, for which he supervises the collections of the Bentley Home and Trussardi Casa brands. In 2013, he also founds the A ++ architecture studio, with offices in Lugano, Zurich, Miami and Mumbai, through which he is dedicated to the realization of luxury interior projects all over the world.Read more
