An armchair with a simple and rooted taste, which fits well with the style of modern living rooms made of simple lines and clear geometries. The Akiko Lounge armchair by Gallotti&Radice was born from the collaboration with the designers Oscar and Gabriele Buratti, designed to enrich living and sleeping areas as well as receptions or waiting rooms all over the world. Its peculiarity consists in having a welcoming backrest accompanied by a wide seat to guarantee maximum comfort. The internal metal structure is padded with differentiated-density polyurethane foam and polyester fibre. The base is in metal lacquered in the color "warm grey". The covering can be in fabric or leather in the detailed variations of the Gallotti&Radice catalogue.

Gabriele & Oscar Buratti
Gabriele (1962-) and Oscar Buratti (1967-), architects and interior designers, are the founders of the Buratti Architetti studio. In the architectural field they can count a great variety of projects (in which the engineer Ivano Battiston partner of the firm collaborated until 2010), from residential villas to the retail sector, a field in which they have created the showrooms of many prestigious brands such as La Perla, Lamborghini, BMW and Husqvarna. Their activity in product design is also very wide and varied, with creations of great cleanliness and elegance that have become part of the catalogs of some of the most important brands in the sector such as Gallotti&Radice, Porada, B&B Italia, Acerbis, Porro, Lema, Living Divani, Driade, Paola Lenti, Alias, FontanaArte and many others. Gabriele Buratti can also boast an important academic career, having taught interior design for many years at the Politecnico of Milan.Read more
