The Faraday coffee table by Gallotti & Radice is a large coffee table designed by the famous Swedish studio Claesson Koivisto Rune. Its classic and essential geometries refer to a background of cold and rational beauty, emphasized by the use of cold materials such as metal and crystal. It consists of two large superimposed glass shelves, of which the upper one is always transparent while the lower one can also be available with a bright or satin back-painting, enclosed in an essential cage of profiles and supports in stainless steel. The Faraday coffee table is also available on request in a version in which the metal parts are in satin brass, giving it a warmer and more eye-catching tone.* Technical features: upper top in transparent glass

Gallotti&Radice was one the first Italian companies introducing the use of crystal in the creation of design furniture. The mastery in the processing of this complex and multifaceted material has characterized over the years the entire Gallotti&Radice production, in balance between sophisticated industrial technologies and craftsmanship, able to grant the maximum customization. The Claesson Koivisto Rune studio, founded in 1994 by Mårten Claesson (1950-), Eero Koivisto (1958-) and Ola Rune (1963-), represents one of the peaks of the renewal of Swedish design that emerged in the 1990s. The three of them studied at Konstfack, a Stockholm university dedicated to the arts, where they met and decided to work together. In the early years their focus was more centered on architecture and interior design, with projects such as the Gucci and Louis Vuitton stores in Stockholm and several showrooms in Japan, but at the end of the 90s the product design projects, inspired by a temperate minimalism, with a fresh and welcoming taste. They have worked for many of the most important Swedish brands such as Offecct, David Design Asplund, Kasthall, Swedese and Skultuna, and even more often for large Italian companies such as Arflex, Paola Lenti, Living Divani, FontanaArte, Gallotti&Radice, Kristalia, Tacchini and Boffi.Read more
