A striking simplicity combined with an extraordinary creative vision defines this vase by HAY, developed in collaboration with the Belgian design duo Muller Van Severen. The structure of Arcs is formed by a chain of oval-shaped elements that, when joined together, create a single cohesive silhouette. From the outside, the design appears as an organic pattern, where one repeated element evolves into something more complex, dynamic, and visually engaging. Made of steel, the vase is available in both reflective and matte finishes, along with a wide range of colors that enhance not only its compositional value but also its overall aesthetic appeal. HAY also offers the vase in several sizes, making it possible to combine multiple pieces together in harmonious arrangements.

Muller Van Severen
Muller Van Severen is one of the most interesting studios in the contemporary Belgian design scene. Founded in 2011 by Fien Muller (1978-), trained as a photographer, and Hannes Van Severen (1974-), an artist by profession, the studio offers furniture and lamps that are on the border between art and design, interpreters of a strongly defined and always coherent aesthetic: Muller Van Severen's poetics is based on the essentiality of thin lines drawn following the intuition of the moment that make their creations resemble pencil sketches that have become three-dimensional. Their self-produced works have been exhibited in some of the most important design galleries in the world, including Galerie Kreo in Paris and Side Gallery in Barcelona. In addition, the Muller Van Severen studio also has important collaborations with major brands dedicated to mass production: the most important are those with the Belgian brand Valerie Objects, which published among other products the very famous Standing Lamp N°1, and the one with the prolific Danish brand Hay. They have also worked with top-tier Italian brands such as Zanotta, cc-tapis and Bitossi Ceramiche.Read more
