Blaine Table
The Blaine table by Minotti represents an elegant fusion of art, cutting-edge engineering, and fine cabinetmaking applied to contemporary interior design. The result of Hannes Peer’s aesthetic research, it reinterprets the artistic legacy of the 20th century through a contemporary lens, combining the organic, monumental forms of sculptor Henry Moore with the sensual architectural lines of Oscar Niemeyer. The key element of the table is its base, composed of curved cast-aluminium trestles featuring a central opening with a distinctive “carved-out” effect, supporting the tabletop above. The top is available in a variety of finishes and can be selected in either a rectangular or round shape, in marble or wood veneer.

Minotti was born in 1948 from an intuition of Alberto Minotti.
The original artisan dimension of the company changes soon and, starting from the Sixties, assumes industrial personality and dimensions. The next step is due to the children, Renato and Roberto Minotti who, after the untimely death of their father in 1991, take the reins of the company and begin a process of growth and expansion towards international markets.
Responsible for the company's strategies, the Minotti brothers share the creative line and the aesthetic principles of the products with the architect Rodolfo Dordoni, who in 1998 was appointed Artistic Director.
The concept that best represents Minotti is certainly the ability to innovate in the sign of continuity. Key formula of Minotti identity is the full expression of the concept of "Made in Italy", which today combines tradition and technology in an indissoluble way: the knowledge of the artisans refines a product born from the most modern technologies, while the intelligence of the hands offers sensitivity and emotion to industrial precision.Read more

Hannes Peer (1976-) is a renowned Italian designer and architect originally from South Tyrol. Trained at the Polytechnic University of Milan, he then worked for a few years in Rotterdam at the studio of star architect Rem Koolhaas before returning to Milan to open his own studio in 2009. In the 2010s he began to make a name for himself and gain increasing fame for his distinctive interior design projects in which he demonstrated an uncommon ability to combine traditional elements with more innovative solutions: often infused with a nostalgic touch, Hannes Peer's projects draw heavily from the imagery of the 60s and 70s. His characteristic "revival style" is also reflected in the furniture he designs, initially all custom projects designed specifically for each client or unique pieces proposed by renowned galleries such as the Milanese Nilufar. The approach to design for large series instead arrives in more recent times with the great success of tables and consoles of the Butterfly series designed for Sem – Spotti Edizioni Milano and a fine series of marble tables produced by the Parisian brand La Chance. The definitive consecration as a product designer finally arrives in 2024, when two major brands protagonists of the market such as Minotti and Baxter choose him to present their new flagship collections.Read more
