Leonard Armchair
Price starting from € 5,600.00*
*Price valid for the version with upholstery in fabric cat. A - underseat shell in oak and base in glossy pewter (cod. LPLT1).
The Leonard armchair is the result of Christophe Delcourt’s creative vision, conceived as a furnishing element for the living space and distinguished by its exceptional formal clarity and versatility. The design of Leonard is built around a double-shell structure that combines structural requirements with the high standards of comfort that Molteni&C consistently upholds across its collection. The outer shell forms a continuous envelope around the seat, while the inner shell supports the backrest, seat and armrests, creating a compact and perfectly balanced volume. The leather and fabric upholstery from the Molteni&C collections gives this armchair a distinctive, coherent and sophisticated identity, making it an ideal choice for those looking for a strong statement piece for the living room.

A wide range of sober and elegant furnishings characterizes Molteni & C., where comfort and high quality standards are the constant reference points. Collaborations with renowned international designers and technological innovation made Molteni&C. a benchmark for the whole furnishings industry. The history of the company began in 1934 when in Giussano the "Arredamenti Angelo Molteni" was founded, a small artisan workshop specialized in the production of furniture.
In the ‘40s, the company became one of the national furniture production leaders, with an exponential growth that brought the company to hire more than 60 employees, recruited among the best artisan workers.Read more
Designed by
Christophe Delcourt
Christophe Delcourt (1966-) is one of the best-known exponents of contemporary French design. Self-taught, he launched his own Delcourt Collection brand in 1995 which immediately attracted great interest and recognition, so much so that he was awarded the title of Designer of the Year at the 1999 Maison & Objet fair. In his Parisian atelier, Delcourt reinterprets the proverbial elegance of French decourateurs in the light of the design experiences of the 2000s, giving his furnishings solid sculptural forms and strong plastic values. Another key feature of Delcourt's work is his attention to the manufacturing quality of his products, the creation of which is entrusted to a network of small local artisans. In recent years Delcourt has also begun to collaborate with other brands, first of all the Italian Minotti which in 2017 chose him as its first external designer alongside the art director Rodolfo Dordoni. Other brands with which he has collaborated in recent years are Baxter, Pierre Frey, Collection Particulière, Roche Bobois, Wall & Decò and Van Rossum.
