Tangent is an adjustable floor lamp inspired by geometric principles and their projection within space. Designed by the duo Jenkins & Uhnger, it is an extremely versatile lighting element, based on a single metal stem that supports an adjustable arm whose angle can vary by several degrees, completely transforming the lamp’s overall appearance. The central element of Tangent—the ring on the base—is a focal point for the eye and, for this very reason, acts as a catalyst and a balancing element for the structure itself, becoming the true pivot around which the stem rotates, moving from a horizontal position to a fully vertical one. The configuration of Tangent makes it an exceptionally versatile piece, adaptable to the needs of all design enthusiasts.
