Poltrona Frau
Poltrona Frau brings in any kind of environment, from home to office, its characteristic taste for leather-covered furnishings. The company grew out from the intuition of Renzo Frau who, moving in Torino, founded his workshop in the late 19th and 20th centuries. The Piedmont city was the ideal stage for the proposals of the young entrepreneur. From the beginning, Poltrona Frau furnishings attract the attentions of the bourgeoisie and the Savoy Aristocracy, strongly fascinated by the international taste. Tito Agnoli
Tito Agnoli (1931-2012) was an important Italian designer, active mainly between the 1950s and 1970s. He then dedicated his interests to architecture, gaining experience as an assistant to Gio Ponti and Carlo De Carli. In his period of greatest activity he worked intensively for brands such as Bonacina, Poltrona Frau, Arflex, Oluce and Matteo Grassi, achieving solid and lasting commercial success. Among the most important awards obtained in his long career are the Gold Medal at the NeoCon in Chicago in 1986 and several honorable mentions at the Compasso d 'Oro. Read more
