The name itself suggests the intent to create a return to comfort, to a welcoming space created to measure where you can feel at home, Generous, wide and open lines are the foundations for this upholstery, to which inclined backrests are added for a better feeling of comfort. . Get Back offers two different types of armrests, numerous accessory elements and multiple finishes to play with to give life to the model that best suits your personality and aesthetic sense. Poltrona Frau brings in any kind of environment, from home to office, its characteristic taste for leather-covered furnishings. The company grew out from the intuition of Renzo Frau who, moving in Torino, founded his workshop in the late 19th and 20th centuries. The Piedmont city was the ideal stage for the proposals of the young entrepreneur.
From the beginning, Poltrona Frau furnishings attract the attentions of the bourgeoisie and the Savoy Aristocracy, strongly fascinated by the international taste. The company’s collections embodied the timeless beauty of the Made in Italy design, despite a remarkable stylistic inflection in the Edoardian taste. Ludovica Serafini (1961-) and Roberto Palomba (1963-) are a couple of Italian architects and designers, founders of the Palomba Serafini Associati studio. Husband and wife, their products have won numerous prestigious international awards, including Elle Decoration International Design Award, Good Design Award, Red Dot Award and, above all, a Compasso d'Oro in 2011. The studio was founded in 1994 and it is based in Milan, the city where Roberto is also professor of Industrial Design at the most important university in the sector, the Politecnico. Their sober and charming products play a leading role in the offer of some of the most prestigious Italian design brands, such as Zanotta, Poltrona Frau and Foscarini.
