The wooden structure is entirely upholstered in Pelle Frau leather, enhancing the visual value of both the top and the legs. One leg provides structural support, while the other doubles as a storage compartment for small items and everyday essentials. The top features an oval-shaped recessed area created within the upholstery, designed to accommodate a small tray and a make-up brush holder, as well as a possible pen holder when Stock’n Roll is used as a desk.

Poltrona Frau brings in any kind of environment, from home to office, its characteristic taste for leather-covered furnishings. The company grew out from the intuition of Renzo Frau who, moving in Torino, founded his workshop in the late 19th and 20th centuries. The Piedmont city was the ideal stage for the proposals of the young entrepreneur.
From the beginning, Poltrona Frau furnishings attract the attentions of the bourgeoisie and the Savoy Aristocracy, strongly fascinated by the international taste. The company’s collections embodied the timeless beauty of the Made in Italy design, despite a remarkable stylistic inflection in the Edoardian taste. In those years came to life iconic products such as the historic model 904, better known as Vanity Fair, the Chester armchair, which recalls the Chesterfield style, and the model 1919.Read more

Sebastian Herkner
Sebastian Herkner (1981-) is one of the most relevant figures of young contemporary German design. His fresh and innovative approach, deep knowledge of materials and skilful use of bright colours have led him to develop a style of great international appeal. Some of his most famous products leverage on the evocative nuances of coloured glass, such as the Bell coffee table made for ClassiCon and the Oda lamp designed for Pulpo, which have already risen to the status of true icons. Others, such as the chairs designed for Moroso and the outdoor furniture by Dedon, leverage the harmonious play of proportions and delicate curves. All these qualities make Herkner a designer in great demand by the biggest brands around the world: he has also worked for brands such as Wittmann, Emu, Pedrali, Rosenthal, Fritz Hansen, Ligne Roset, Ames, Sancal and many others.Read more
