Cirio Circular is a lamp imbued with solemnity that recalls oriental atmospheres: it is in fact inspired by the lighting system used in mosques, where often large and thin metal rings support a profusion of small luminous bodies that contribute to the mystical charm of the environment. A style turned towards minimalism by designer Antoni Arola, who reduces the lights to many small LED cylinders. In the richest compositions, Cirio Circular is made up of several concentric rings, in which the different levels merge at a glance, creating a spectacular effect capable of embellishing both domestic environments and even more so common spaces and commercial establishments.

Antoni Arola
Antoni Arola (1960–) is a Spanish designer best known for his work in lighting and lamps. A Catalan from Tarragona, Arola studied at ENIA in Barcelona and worked with prominent architects and designers including Alberto Lievore, Jorge Pensi, and Ramón Bigas. Active independently since 1994, one of his earliest clients was the brand Santa & Cole, with which he began a collaboration destined to last decades. Over the course of this partnership, Arola established himself as one of the company’s leading designers, creating major successes such as the Nimba pendant lamp (1997, awarded the ADI-FAD prize—often considered the Spanish equivalent of the Compasso d’Oro) and the popular Cirio lamp series (2010). Another Spanish lighting brand with which Arola developed a long-lasting and fruitful partnership is Vibia, with highly successful products such as the poetic Flamingo lamp, which won a Wallpaper* Design Award in 2017. Antoni Arola has also designed lighting products for Viabizzuno, furniture for Kendo Mobiliario, and has curated significant interior design projects such as the Mos gourmet shop in Barcelona.Read more
