Designed by Cini Boeri, Tako is a coffee table with an essential and functional design that embodies the versatile, multifunctional spirit of contemporary furniture. Its beauty lies precisely in its ability to combine refined elements in a simple, clean, and precise way — reducing each component to its essence so that it never feels excessive or out of place. The original design dates back to the 1970s and draws inspiration from Eastern aesthetics and proportions. Available in various finishes and materials, Tako retains its distinctive identity through its solid metal legs and ultra-thin top, making it an ideal piece for living rooms and convivial spaces.

Cini Boeri
Cini Boeri (1924-2020) was one of the most prominent female figures in the history of Italian design. A curious and determined woman, thanks to her talent she manages to make her way in a traditionally male-dominated environment such as that of architecture. In the products she conceives and in her interior design projects, the human being always comes first: she is always looking for comfortable solutions for human needs, advocating a more informal lifestyle that favoured comfort and functionality. Her collaboration with Arflex is particularly fruitful and lasting, which also leads her to victory in the Compasso d'Oro in 1979, but she has the opportunity to work with many of the most important Italian brands of her time: Fiam, Knoll, Poltrona Frau, Artemide, Fusital, Venini, Rosenthal and many others. He has three children, all destined for great success: Stefano, a famous architect author of projects such as Bosco Verticale in Milan, Tito, an important economist, who reaches the top of institutions such as INPS, and Sandro, an appreciated journalist in the field of scientific divulgation.Read more
