The Vuelta armchair was created in 2016 through a collaboration between the Spanish designer Jaime Hayon and Wittmann. The name Vuelta, which means “turn” or “rotation” in Spanish, clearly reflects the creative concept behind this comfortable and inviting armchair: its structure gently wraps around the seat, transforming seamlessly into the armrests and backrest. The resulting visual effect is that of a warm embrace, further enhanced by its generous proportions, which comfortably accommodate the body. The distinctive geometric stitching and tailored detailing of the upholstery reference Viennese Modernism, reinterpreted through a contemporary and eclectic lens. Vuelta is available in several versions, including Lounge and Small models, allowing it to adapt to a variety of spatial requirements and functional needs.

Wittmann was founded in 1896 as a company specializing in the production of saddles, later transforming into a furniture manufacturer. In 1950, it changed its identity, becoming a full-fledged manufacturer of home goods. Its catalog included handmade chairs, sofas, beds, and mattresses. Over time, Wittmann expanded its business, always keeping management in the hands of the original family but expanding the quality and strength of its brand to become a true international player.Read more
Designed by
Jaime Hayon
Jaime Hayon (1974-) is a Spanish artist and designer, one of the most important names in the panorama of contemporary design. After his studies in Madrid and Paris, he took his first steps in the world of design as a teacher at the Fabrica research center in Treviso, founded by the Benetton family and Oliviero Toscarini, and then revealed himself to the world with the exhibition "Mediterranean Digital Baroque" at the David Gill Gallery in London. In the field of furniture he has worked with brands such as BD Barcelona Design, Fritz Hansen, Magis, Viccarbe, Ceccotti, Wittmann, Moooi, Cassina and many others, with furniture to which its typical wavy and light sign gives a strong charge of expressiveness. However, it is in the design of the object that he is able to unleash all his disruptive creativity, giving life to colorful and playful accessories that often take the form of real sculptures, made for brands such as Bosa, Paola C., Lladrò and Vista Alegre.Read more
