Salvioni Lugano | The new Outdoor window by Baxter
Salvioni Lugano renews its window, enriching the Baxter brand display with new products dedicated to the outdoor furniture. In this new space there are numerous elements dedicated to the outdoor environment, ideal for those who appreciate spending their time outdoors without neglecting comfort and convenience.
The space is organized into two distinct segments, one reserved for living and one for dining, although the two interact perfectly with each other, creating a continuum of taste and colors. In the living area, the Himba outdoor sofa by Roberto Lazzeroni stands out, essential in its soft shapes in black iroko wood. In the same area we can appreciate the Montreal and Pedro Openair outdoor armchairs, two very distant examples of an equal search for beauty. Compared to Montreal, the Pedro Openair armchair evokes sunny terraces and parched panoramas, where sand and ochre mix to create an almost perfect background.
Equally evocative are the tables placed nearby. The Bao and Brasilia outdoor models take inspiration from stone, as well as the primitive hardness of reinforced concrete to give life to extremely interesting and versatile objects, whose deliberate neutrality makes them the perfect complement to any composition.
Much more personal is the Outdoor Nairobi coffee table, which with its black iroko top shows off a style that is impossible to ignore, rough but elegant at the same time. The charm of this object comes precisely from its style between refinement and primitiveness, a mix that places it perfectly in outdoor contexts but that produces a certain charm even in an indoor environment.
The living room is completed by two Outdoor Himba stools, also in black iroko, a perfect duo that with the table and the sofa create an extremely balanced and evocative composition.
Moving on to the dining part, it is impossible not to mention the Outdoor Matera table which, with its characteristic Palladiana Black top, immediately attracts the eye, becoming the absolute protagonist. The beauty of the stone is evident and absolute, a perfect mix of black and white embellished by the cut made by Baxter. To the touch it is smooth and polished, but also solid, ideal for various uses in an outdoor environment. The Matera table is surrounded by the Linfa chairs and stools in black iroko and a glossy Avio lacquered base. These two elements strongly recall the 70s/80s taste of Baxter, always offering a more personal tone to the collection.
The lighting is fascinating, here entrusted to numerous pendant lamps very varied in taste and materials, however capable of describing the essence of Baxter in its many differences.
The Hozuki Indigo lamps look like large Magnolia flowers about to bloom. In an elegant blending from white to purple, they create a play of light in the surrounding space, making the atmosphere more mysterious and intriguing. The Rattan Bulbe pendant lamps, shown here in the Large and Small versions, have a completely different taste. The material they are made of, rattan, transports the imagination to much warmer countries, where torrid landscapes are added to the slow lapping of the waves.
Overall, this showcase is able to express Baxter’s timeless taste for luxury furnishings, here declined in an agile and particularly evocative outdoor version. The exotic references are an integral part of these collections that are not afraid to move us elsewhere, towards warmer and more pleasant destinations, lulled by the comfort and artisanal quality of the company.
