Salvioni Milano Durini | First Floor | Rust Diffusion
“Rust Diffusion,” the first floor, stands out for the bold burst of color on the walls, enhanced by a refined lighting design by Panzeri, conceived to make light—and its many applications—the true protagonist of the space. On this level, vivid tones and dark finishes constantly blend and contrast, creating a genuine dialogue of opposites.
Upon entering, one is welcomed by a spacious lounge area featuring the 4 à réglage continu chaise longue by Cassina in leather, accompanied by three dark elements: the Alvea console by Living Divani, the Lexington TV wall by Poliform, and the Brera wardrobe with glass doors by Erba, along with the Ala rug by Kristiina Lassus.
Contrasting elements include the Ara pouf by Baxter, Pulpo coffee tables, and the elegant Sumo sofa by Living Divani. The space is completed by wallpaper and curtains by Roberto Molteni Soft Decoration.
Moving toward the bathroom, one encounters a highly evocative niche defined by the presence of a 1970s design icon: the Ball Chair by Eero Aarnio for Eero Aarnio Originals in a white finish, framed by the Kisu figurine and the Caadre mirror by FIAM Italia. This space encapsulates an essential and evocative vision of design, built on strong contrasts that merge to create unique expressions of taste.
New for 2026 are the Scent lamps by Panzeri, designed by Marc Sadler, presented here both as pendant and track versions in an installation conceived to enhance light within domestic spaces.
Continuing toward the living/dining area, one is immediately struck by the spacious Poliform kitchen, illuminated by the Hilow and To Be lighting systems by Panzeri. Slightly further on, the living area takes shape with the Rock table by MDF Italia and the Archibald chairs by Poltrona Frau. The Brera wardrobe with glass doors closes this space and opens onto the sleeping area, dominated by the Kelly bed by Poliform and matching bedside tables.
An interesting adjacent home-office space features the Jasper desk by Meridiani and the Cesca chair by Knoll. Framing the setting is the Pacha armchair by Gubi, complemented by the striking wood-effect wallpaper by Roberto Molteni Soft Decoration.
Inside the first floor, several works belonging to the art and design hub 6499 Milano were exhibited. Among the many names featured, those that stand out here are Vitalino Marchetto, Antoine Robin, Ciro Palumbo, Helidon Xhixha, Giorgio Tentolini, and Davide Frisoni.
