Salvioni Milano Durini | Second floor | Endless Morn
The second floor presents itself as an elegant mix of sleeping and living areas, alternating in two specific environments dominated by shades ranging from beige to blue, with gold elements taken from the lighting by Catellani&Smith, which for the occasion has chosen to bring three cornerstones of its catalog plus some new products presented at Euroluce 2025.
Two beds were chosen for the sleeping area, a Duetto by Flou and an Archibald bed by Poltrona Frau flanked by two 9 tables by Cassina and a WGS pouf by Gallotti&Radice. An important aesthetic contribution is provided by the Eva armchair by Bonacina 1889, whose light colors reflect the chosen shades of the District carpet by Illulian. These two sleeping areas are kept separate by the Infinity bookcase by Flexform, composed here with a particular curvature that makes it much more of a furnishing element than a container for books. Another interesting element is the Luxe wardrobe by Erba Mobili placed in a niche behind the double bed with the function of wardrobe and vestibule.
The Duetto bed by Flou is part of a composition that includes the Ginger armchair and Fred desk by Poltrona Frau designed to create the illusion of a small children’s room. Passing through the corridor in which the Ex-Libris sideboard by Porro stands out, you reach the large living area in which it is possible to distinguish two relaxation areas separated from each other by a large Henry table by Poliform surrounded by Colette and Beetle chairs by Baxter.
The contribution of the Kintsugi carpet by Illulian is masterful, whose gray and gold shades are picked up by the lighting by Catellani&Smith but also by the Extra Soft sofa by Living Divani resting on the Ala carpet by Kristiina Lassus. The contrast created between the light shades of the upholstery and the much darker ones of the proposal by Kristiina Lassus is mitigated by the numerous tables that surround the scene: 9 by Cassina, Haumea by Gallotti&Radice, Mangiafuoco by Moroso and Reverre also by Gallotti&Radice with the addition, not far away, of a last element, the Cristaline by Fiam. The scene is closed by the large Lexington bookcase by Poliform, a load-bearing element taken up on the opposite side of the room with the Load-it TV system by Porro in shades of blue and black.
The second area also presents a mix of chiaroscuro thanks to the use of the Camelot sofa by Flexform in white and the Manlio Roh carpet by Amini in shades of blue. The scene is enriched by two Archibald armchairs by Poltrona Frau and numerous tables including Mangiafuoco by Moroso, Bell Table by Classicon and Lakes by Fiam.
The curtains by Roberto Molteni Soft Decoration are a must, and their taste is also found in the wallpapers in the bathrooms, the bedroom area and of course in this living space.
The artists who have contributed to enriching this space are, as always, part of the meticulous selection proposed by the 6499 Milano art and design hub and are: Paola Romano, Mimmo Verduci, Davide Frisoni, Helidon Xhixha, Andrea De Luca and Antoine Robin. Each element presented contributes to creating a unique and unparalleled atmosphere, made up of numerous stylistic choices that together aim to create the illusion of a luxury home, complete not only with furnishings but also with high-level artistic elements.
