Giorgetti presents the new Open air collection for the Salone del Mobile 2017
At the Salone del Mobile 2017, Giorgetti presented the new outdoor collection composed of a series sofas, armchairs, tables and accessories: the Open Air, articulated in the Apsara line signed by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba and the Gea line of Chi Wing Lo.
From the collaboration with the Palomba Studio, born the prince of the collection, the Apsara seating system: an extremely versatile system able to fit every kind of garden furnishing or any outside space. The backbone structure vaguely remembers the furnishings in use in the Far East, inspired by mats, with teak wood elements forming a large platform that hosts soft seatings. The final effect is a reinterpretation of a generously shaped carabottino, which is the crankcase and on which the pillows and backs can be placed in absolute freedom, to obtain an unprecedented compositional variety.
The fabrics used are characterized by sophisticated textures and delicate and elegant nuances, entirely waterproof, which greatly enhance the possibilities of personalization.
The Gea collection of Chi Wing Lo is made up of armchairs and sofas with waterproof pillows, joined by tables and coffee tables made of carruba-colored steel and planks in different essences: abonos oak, millennial wood, afrormosia or gray marble. The kit includes a microfiber fabric parasol, onyx or white crystal table and ground lamp, a brushed gray marble tray and a candle lamp with a marble plate and a transparent pyrex diffuser.
