PalermoUno – the charm of design objects

For this Christmas 2019 Salvioni Design Solutions has inaugurated a special initiative with a protagonist of excellence in the Milanese design scene: PalermoUno.

PalermoUno was born in 2018 from the inspiration of Sophie Wannenes to transform her studio into a design apartment and gallery of over 150 square meters. This structure, the previous site of the gallery, was located in the Brera Design district, giving itself to the multi-faceted function of a design gallery, apartment and store where innovative works by artists and designers from around the world met to give shape to a space where aesthetics and functionalism mix in a glimpse of authentic life.

Furniture, lights, colors and materials enriched each room, enhancing the environments and showing how aesthetics should not necessarily hinder the function of the house. In a conceptual continuum, visitors were welcomed on a path where each object could be viewed, understood and finally purchased.

A brand of excellence in the sale of furnishing accessories and objects, PalermoUno owes its fortune to a group of emerging designers thanks to which it has been able to build a large catalog of products always updated with new and surprising works of art and design.

Among the most prominent, it is possible to mention Charlotte Juillard, a French designer born in 1987 in the south of France. After graduating in Product Design, Charlotte received great recognition for her talent and artistic contribution. She currently works for many brands including Ligne Roset, Duvivier and Christian Lacroix; Edoardo Morelli, founder of the Officina Morelli brand, is today a leading figure in the world of design, decoration and interior design. His past has seen him active in industrial design, showrooms and laboratories, forming multi-purpose skills and ensuring in his work particular attention to the construction details of objects made on a large scale; The Ukrainian Kateryna Sokolova is the co-founder and creative director of the Noom brand, as well as the Sokolova studio.

Her work is concentrated in many areas, ranging from home furnishings, lighting, electronics and equipment. Among the many prizes and awards received for her work, Kateryna received the Red Dot Design Award in 2015, followed by a collaboration with Jarre Tecnhologies and the eponymous artist Jean Michelle Jarre. In furnishing design, she works regularly with Ligne Roset; Luca Papini, born in 1975 in Brescia, studied at the Faculty of Architecture in Florence and then graduated in Industrial Design in Milan. In 2006 he opened his design studio, focusing on the industrial world. After that he won numerous awards and collaborated with major brands such as Domus Academy and Gessi; Born in 1973, Milanese opened his company, Glab Milan, in 2000, focusing on the production of metal furniture. The techniques used, from the oldest to the most recent, aim to preserve the repeatability of creative works, without losing any detail during processing; Serena Confalonieri is an independent design and artistic director whose work focuses on product, graphic and textile design. In her works the study of surfaces assumes great importance, fundamental to give completeness to the whole product.

Thanks to the collaboration with personalities and big names in the sector, PalermoUno is able to offer a wide choice of catalog products suitable for any taste and environment.

Salvioni Design Solutions has been hosting a wide range of products, offering to its selected clientele an even more assorted variety of brand names to choose from and be enchanted.
