Cimento®
Frari Table
Price € 5,978.00
The Frari table by Cimento was conceived from the inspiration of designer Patricia Urquiola, who envisioned it as a celebration of the geometry of the circle — a symbol of perfect harmony and balance. Frari seeks to honor aesthetic purity in every detail, dividing its surface into two exact and symmetrical halves that play on a material contrast between smooth and sandblasted finishes, creating a highly distinctive sensory experience. The table’s base is cylindrical, itself divided into two sections. The finish used in its construction is Cimento’s distinctive patented cement blend, available in a wide range of colors and textures depending on the mineral aggregates and compounds introduced into the mixture.

Cimento® was founded in 2010 as a project focused on exploring concrete and its potential applications in furniture design. The study of its aesthetic and functional expressions has made it possible to create contemporary and innovative products, capable of expressing themselves through a distinctive range of textures and finishes, as well as a strong sensitivity to application across various architectural and design contexts.
Over time, Cimento® has specialized in the production of flexible, low-thickness panels, ideal for cladding flat and curved surfaces, as well as façades and decorative tiles. A key element is the use of Cimento®, a cement-based compound obtained from a blend of mineral aggregates and binders, designed to combine material richness and lightness in an unprecedented balance. Applicable to a variety of substrates, it creates surfaces with a minimalist aesthetic and a strong material character, offering maximum versatility and ease of installation.Read more

Patricia Urquiola
Patricia Urquiola (1961-), Spanish by birth but now Milanese by adoption, is one of the most important names in the panorama of contemporary design. She was able to count on an impressive parterre of great masters: graduated from the Milan Polytechnic with Achille Castiglioni as a teacher, she then collaborated for a few years with Vico Magistretti on the set-up of the De Padova showroom, before becoming Head of Design for the studio in 1996. Piero Lissoni. Since the early 2000s she begins to make herself known for her colorful and exuberant style, which will find maximum expression in the collaboration with the Moroso company. Other brands that have strongly focused on her have been B&B Italia, with which she will also shape the aesthetics of her new outdoor collection, B&B Italia Outdoor, and Cassina, for which she is artistic director. Very appreciated and author of highly successful products, she has collaborations with other big brands such as Kettal, Flos, Molteni & C., Kartell, Foscarini, cc-tapis, Paola Lenti, Mutina, Glas Italia and many others.Read more
