The Bao sculptures by Flexform are a collection of sculptural decorative pieces designed to enrich the home environment, creating a sophisticated artistic dialogue with the surrounding space. The concept behind these precious furnishings lies in the visual tension between solid and void, expressed through overlapping blocks balanced in an apparently precarious arrangement. Bao’s forms are organic and soft, with solid wood elements entirely hand-finished to ensure fluid, continuous, and gently rounded lines. The material is further enhanced by the dark finishes applied to the wood, lending the pieces an added sense of elegance and solidity.

Originally founded by the Galimberti brothers as a small artisan workshop for the production of beds, sofas and armchairs, since the beginning the company has expressed the purpose to achieve timeless elegance, averse to the passing fad and inspired by a concept of absolute comfort.
